Faith Serves Around the World
Have you noticed? People of Faith are being transformed in ways that inspire the desire to DO SOMETHING about their faith.
There has been a call to action preached at Faith Lutheran Church and our folks want to answer that call by serving others.
Last summer several of our members went on a mission trip to Appalachian Ohio to serve those in need for a week.
We continue to offer a local program out of people's desire to respond to the love and grace of God. We are calling this program Servant Saturdays.
Serve One Saturday in Akron
Servant Saturdays will be an opportunity for members and friends of Faith to reach out the loving and caring hand of Jesus to those in need in the Akron area by doing small jobs to make their living arrangements more, well, livable!
Each event will find us at a different location, doing simple home repairs, painting, cleaning, lawn care, tending to whatever needs done.
This outreach is a very tangible way to live out your faith in God who calls us to serve one another. Watch for the next Servant Saturday event and sign up to help!
