Financial Report Offers Reasons to Give Thanks
In 2011 an important focus at Faith Lutheran Church has been for the operating fund to become healthier, and as the year ended that goal was met! Faithful giving in 2011 was a true blessing, and has created a reason to rejoice! This year income exceeded expenses by $35,471! In addition to consistent financial support (this year’s income exceeded last year’s by $22,374), expenses were $6,039 less than the budgeted amount for 2011. We also give thank for the giving beyond the Operating Fund. In 2011 $42,390 was contributed to the Building and Grounds Fund. Additionally, through this fall’s “More Than Enough” emphasis, $19,261 was given to ministries beyond Faith Lutheran Church.
