A Message of Thanks from Pastor Jean
Dear Faith Family,
Sunday, May 6, was a wonderful day as we celebrated 10 years of ministry together! I am indeed blessed to by the people who are Faith Lutheran Church, and the anniversary celebration was a testimony to that reality. There are so many reasons to be thankful; I am especially grateful for:
- The worship celebration that brought us all together with inspiring preaching by Pastor Christine Thompson and special music by BOUND, the choir and Bob Mollard;
- The beautiful fellowship time hosted by the Congregational Life and Nurture Team…complete with lovely décor, beautiful and tasty cake and, of course, jelly beans;
- The wonderful gifts … a memory book, photo album, Pandora charms and funds that I will share with ministries that are important to me;
- The DVD of our ministry together created by Tom Antal and Dineen Dowling;
- The dedicated organization of it all by the Call Committee, Staff Support Team and Staff, especially Steve Thompson, Polly Dobkin, Pastor Carolyn and Judy Lee;
- The supportive words shared by many, especially those offered by Anita Sears and Bill Evans as we gathered for fellowship.
I am indeed fortunate to be touched by such riches of faith and support!
