We are beginning our New Year with lessons on Winter, Snow, Winter Animals & Hibernation. Much to our amazement we do NOT have any snow! As a matter of fact, we've actually been able to play OUTSIDE! Yes, outside - in January!
Either way, the children are having a great time making all sorts of super fun Winter art projects, hearing stories of Winter fun, singing songs & having indoor "snowball fights" :)
Our 3 year old friends have had fun playing "in the snow" inside their classrooms :)
Our 4 year old classes are having Hibernation parties this month and wearing their pajamas to school along with their favorite teddy bear friends!
Our Pre-K class are continuing to learn the lower-case letters with their Zoophonic friends. It is AMAZING how much fun they are having AND how quickly they are learning the letters and their corresponding sounds! They are also enjoying our weekly visits from Mr. Leo (Science) & Miss Gaby (Spanish). They truly are flourishing in this amazing 5 year old year!
All of our classes continue to have weekly visits from Miss Deb, Miss Pat, Pastor Jean & "Gramma Care" to learn about the stories of our Bible. We are just finishing up with the story of the 3 Wiseman, King Herod and beginning to learn about Jesus as a young boy. The children love these visits and it is an integral part of our program.
We are looking forward to February and all of the fun it will bring! Do you think we'll have a little snow or maybe LOTS???
